American Family Network is a division of American Products Corporation, an Oregon corporation, established in 1981. American Products Company, another division of the corporation, is engaged in the publishing of quality nature/scenic books, calendars, American Heritage and Patriotic publications, and Self-sufficiency, Preparedness and Survival publications. American Family Network is engaged in providing information and products to families concerned about Self-sufficiency, Preparedness, and Survival

Robert and Barbara Shangle, long time residents of Beaverton, Oregon, own the company where the company is based. The lives and business activities of the Shangle family are operated according to strict Christian principles.

American Family Network's activities began in 1992 with the family's realization that there was a need to become more knowledgeable regarding Self-sufficiency, Preparedness and Survival. We quickly concluded that the amount of effort and time required to pursue our goals was enormous, and it seemed very likely that most other "enlightened" families were in a similar circumstance. Thus, the sharing of the information through American Family Network was born.

It is now the belief of the "family" that these efforts were ordained to be a true Mission for the "family." Persons wishing to participate and contribute thinking and effort toward the helping of others are welcome.

We believe that what is good for our family, is good for yours.

If you become a pursuer of PREPAREDNESS, we urge you to share the message with others. Those who are sincere and take action will be the better for their commitment.
